Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats Boys’ Soccer team finished off the soccer doubleheader with a 6-0 shutout victory over the Belmond-Klemme Broncos at the Humboldt High School Soccer Field.
Nolan Gustafson (So.) broke the seal in a scoreless game at the 27:28 mark of the first half. The second goal came from Christian Ramirez (So.), as he sent a header past the goalkeeper with 20:14 in the first half. The Wildcats would add one more goal before halftime courtesy of Antonio Xum Vicario (Fr.), who weaved through the defense making three defenders miss to find the net at the 3:16 mark of the first half.
The second half would continue to be all Wildcats as Isaiah Kahl (Sr.) scored at the 30:22 mark; Ramirez scored his second goal of the game at the 24:41 mark; and 40 seconds later, Trever Beach (Jr.) joined the scoring party for the final goal in the match with 24:01 go in regulation.

Hadar knows that his team’s record is unblemished so far, but reminds his team that there is still a lot of season left.
The boys’ next match is on Monday against the Fort Dodge Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in Fort Dodge. The match is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
