Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats Girls’ Soccer team shutout the Belmond-Klemme Broncos 3-0 last night at the Humboldt High School Soccer Field. For the Wildcats, Ava McIntire (So.) scored two goals for the Wildcats and Haley Satern (Jr.) tacked on a goal as well. All three Wildcat goals came in the first half. The girls’ team record now stands at 5-3 (4-2 NCC).
Head coach Rodd Mooney liked the way his team came out strong in the first half.
Mooney feels good about the momentum his team has after their second consecutive victory.
The girls’ next match is on Monday against the Fort Dodge Dodgers at the Humboldt High School Soccer Field. The match is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m.
