Humboldt Wildcats’ sports for June 22

Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Wildcats baseball and softball teams will both resume conference play this evening.

The Wildcats baseball team is in Algona to face the Bulldogs in a conference game as the Cats look to bounce back from their loss to Estherville Lincoln Central yesterday. The Wildcats come into play tonight at 13-5 (9-2 NCC), currently ranking second in the conference and just trailing the Webster City Lynx for the top of the standings. First pitch is 7:30 p.m. in Algona.

The Humboldt softball team will also be in Algona to face the Bulldogs in a conference game. The Wildcats are coming off a day off after Monday night’s 13-0 conference win against the Clarion-Goldfield-Dows Cowgirls. The Cats check into play with a mark of 10-6 (5-4 NCC) which places Humboldt at third in the conference. First pitch from Algona is at 7:30 p.m.
