SANTA PAWS IS COMING TO TOWN: Operation Santa Paws begins Dec. 1

Humboldt, IA – Operation Santa Paws begins its month long run on Thursday, Dec. 1 in Humboldt. Operation Santa Paws is a fundraiser for area animal shelters in need of items to take care of the current animals in their locations.

This weekend in partnership with KHBT, the Humboldt Vet Clinic will have a Santa Paws event on Saturday, Dec. 3 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with an opportunity for your pet to meet Santa Claus and get a picture with ole St. Nick.

Freewill donations of pet food, litter, toys or cleaning supplies will be collected for local shelters and rescues such as Moffitt Animal Shelter, Peace Creek Animal Sanctuary & Rescue and Lazy J Rescue Ranch, with the rescues and shelters also having items available for purchase.

Santa Paws will run through the end of the month to Dec. 31.
