Humboldt, IA – The City of Humboldt is requesting input from community members to complete the Humboldt Housing Needs Survey. Humboldt City Administrator Cole Bockelmann.

The survey will provide direction for the Rural Housing Readiness Assessment (RHRA) Program and help the steering committee identify the community’s housing needs. At last week’s city council meeting, the city approved the program fee contract with the Iowa State Extension and Outreach Office who facilitated the meetings and the program. The grant has allowed the city to conduct the survey at no cost, having received a 5, 000 dollar grant from Humboldt county housing to cover the matching funds. The remaining $10,000 came from a grant with the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
