Dakota City, IA – The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors signed a proclamation to recognize March 2023 as Problem Gambling Awareness Month. The National Council on Problem Gambling and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and Community and Family Resources have designated the month of March to combat Problem Gambling.

The board signed the proclamation Monday which encourages all citizens to support the National Council on Problem Gambling and the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services and Community and Family Resources in their efforts to mitigate gambling-related harm throughout Iowa and across the nation.
