Humboldt Co., IA – May is recognized nationally as National Beef Month and VP of the Humboldt County Cattlemen’s Association Kevin Cordray is encouraging consumers to enjoy the product that is a vital part of the economy in the state of Iowa.
Cordray says there are dietary benefits with a beef involved diet.
Humboldt County holds 11,000 head of beef cattle and the state of Iowa has 3.9 million head of beef cattle state-wide, which astonishingly outnumbers people at both the county and state level, respectively.
