(KHBT) – The outpouring support of several area schools and communities outside of Algona were featured Friday night in honor of slain Algona Police Officer Kevin Cram.

In addition to Algona schools holding fundraisers, the Humboldt Athletic Booster Club, Pocahontas Area, Manson NW Webster, Clarion-Goldfield-Dows, Fort Dodge Senior High School and St. Edmond booster clubs held fundraisers during their football games. Here in Humboldt, the Athletic Booster Club donated $10 for each touchdown scored Friday night between North Polk and Humboldt from each team with the money donated to fallen Algona police officer Cram family. The booster club also asked for donations from other Humboldt groups and businesses.

The booster club says that all cash or check Donations can be dropped off at Bank Iowa on Monday in care of treasurer Amy Donahe. Any donations done through Venmo can go through their Booster Venmo account and donors need to specify within the memo that it is a Cram Family donation.
