(KHBT) – The Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union (IGHSAU) has released postseason brackets for 4A girls’ basketball.
The Humboldt Wildcats (17-4) who were ranked at No. 15 in the union’s final rankings for Class 4A, were placed into the region seven bracket. Humboldt will receive a first round bye and will host the winner of the Feb. 14 matchup between Fort Dodge (8-11) and Boone (4-16) on Feb. 17 at Humboldt High School in the Regional Semifinals at 7:00 p.m.
The other side of the bracket includes No. 7 LeMars (17-3) who has the bracket’s other bye and will face the winner of Sioux Center (13-5) and Spencer (1-19) from Feb. 14 on the 17.
The Regional Final will be played on Feb. 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the site of the highest remaining ranked team in the IGHSAU Final Rankings.
