Des Moines, IA – Humboldt Boys’ Wrestling coaches were honored with awards Saturday night at the 2024 IHSAA Boys’ Wrestling State Tournament at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Head Coach Chad Beaman and Assistant Coaches Justin McDaniel and Mark Cirks were honored Saturday night at the State Tournament with the 2A Coach and Assistant Coaches of the Year Awards. Humboldt’s coaching staff led the program to a fifth place finish at the State Dual Tournament at Xtream Arena in Coralville on Feb. 3 and qualified five Humboldt wrestlers to Wells Fargo Arena from Feb. 14-17 for the individual State Tournament, with three placing on the podium.
