Dakota City, IA – Humboldt County Courthouse staff recently conducted a table top exercise regarding active shooter safety drills.
The exercise was led by Humboldt County EMA director and coordinator Kyle Bissell, who says the purpose of the exercise was to get a broader discussion going.
He says having a plan in place is of the upmost importance in this day in age.
Bissell says businesses would benefit from taking a look at their plan of action.
Bissell provides tips when looking to create a plan when entities are faced with an active threat.
