Pocahontas, IA – The Pocahontas Chamber of Commerce recently received an award for outstanding Niche Market Initiative in the rural classification from Travel Iowa for their PocaHAUNTus haunted house event held last October.
Parker Aden is the Executive Director of the Pocahontas Chamber of Commerce and tells KHBT news what the award means to all involved
The awards were presented in 13 categories in metro and rural classifications. PocahHAUNTus was a partnership between the city’s chamber and its fire department.
