River Flood Warning in effect until Tuesday

Humboldt Co., IA – River Flooding within Humboldt County has caused several road closures as of this morning.

According to Humboldt County EMA Director Kyle Bissell, those closures are:

  • Montana Ave. between 100th and Michigan Ave.
  • 110th between Oak Ave. and Ohio Ave.
  • Arizona Ave. between 160th and 170th
  • 170th St. between K Ave and States Ave.
  • Public Road from Garfield to Colorado
  • 190th St. between Elm and Florida Ave.

A river flood warning for Humboldt County remains in effect until tomorrow. At 2:15 a.m. CDT Monday, the stage was 10.8 feet and falling. The river is expected to fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
