Humboldt, IA – The Humboldt Softball team defeated the Clear Lake Lions 10-3 Wednesday night to split the season series.
In the circle, Humboldt’s Elsie Hubbell pitched a complete game with seven innings allowing five hits and three earned runs. Offensively, Hubbell was 2-4 with two doubles, Gracie Lyon 1-2 with 3 runs scored, Reagan Lee had a hit and 2 runs scored, Abby Armitage was 1-3 with two RBIs, Rylee Coyle was 1-2 with 2 RBIs, Mia Schluter was 1-2 with a run scored and an RBI, and Jazzie Dodd recorded a hit.
With the win, Humboldt is 8-10 (5-5 NCC) and head to Webster City Friday.
