Thor, IA – A single-vehicle accident Friday morning to the east of Thor left a 17-year-old girl injured.

At approximately 8:14 a.m. Friday, the Humboldt County Law Enforcement Center received a call of an overturned car in the ditch along 250th St. to the East of Thor. Deputy Andrew Shillington with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office responded on scene.

The 17-year-old female from Goldfield driving the vehicle was transported by Humboldt EMS to Iowa Specialty Hospital in Clarion  with non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle, a white 2008 Buick Lucerne, had to be pulled from the ditch by Jergen’s Body and Alignment’s Wrecker Service.
