Humboldt, IA – Longtime Humboldt City Clerk Gloria Christensen officially retired from the role after 30 years in different capacities with the city of Humboldt at Monday’s city council session.
Christensen was honored with an award commemorating her service with the city. Amy Zeman, a Livermore native is set to take over the role after spending the last seven and half years as the city clerk for Ellsworth.
Christensen will be retained on staff to help the transition for a couple of weeks.
