Webster Co., IA – A Rockwell City woman died and a Fort Dodge man was injured in a two-vehicle crash in Webster County early Sunday morning.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the accident occurred approximately at 3:15 a.m. Sunday along Webster County Road D20 near Hayes Avenue in rural Webster County. A westbound 2010 model GMC Acadia pickup truck driven by 30-year-old Sasha Brown of Rockwell City was on D20, crossed the centerline and struck an eastbound 1995 model Peterbuilt semi operated by Wyatt Lundberg of Fort Dodge. Brown was killed in the accident and Lundberg was checked out by medics and was released.
The accident remains under investigation.
