Humboldt, IA – The summer long project to resurface the main downtown artery of the City of Humboldt will wrap up next week.
The City of Humboldt announced through a social media post Friday that the final phase, which includes the striping of Sumner Avenue, will occur on Monday, Sept. 9 and Tuesday, Sept. 10. The parking area on the north side will be closed on Monday and the south side will be closed on Tuesday.
The city did say that Sumner Avenue will remain open during the striping. The city asks that any questions regarding the closing should be directed to Humboldt City Hall, which can be reached at (515) 332-3435.
