KHBT – A winter weather advisory will go into effect tomorrow night into Saturday morning for the area.
The National Weather Service says the advisory is set to go in effect at 4:00 p.m. Friday and last until 9:00 a.m. Saturday as mixed precipitation is expected for the area. Total snow and sleet accumulations for the area are forecast for under one inch and ice accumulations around one to two tenths of an inch, which will lead to slippery road conditions Friday night into Saturday morning.
The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Those out traveling during the advisory are advised to use extra caution.
