Humboldt, IA – A former coach of the Humboldt Wildcats volleyball program is returning to lead the school’s team for the upcoming 2025 season.
Kara Waldorf was named as the new head volleyball coach of the program at the Monday, March 24 Humboldt Community School District board meeting. Waldorf is succeeding Ashlynn McKenna, who submitted her resignation to the board on February 10.
Waldorf led the program for two seasons in 2021 and 2022, accumulating a record of 48-20 (13-1 NCC) and winning one North Central Conference title in 2021 with a mark of 29-7 (7-0 NCC).
