Dakota City, IA – The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors officially welcomed Scott Burtch as a deputy sheriff with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) at their Monday morning session.
Before joining the HCSO, Burtch was an officer with Humboldt Police Department and was a former deputy in Mills County Burtch has also served as Chief of Police in Sheldon.
Burtch began his first day on the job on Monday, August 4.
