Spencer, IA – Humboldt senior Brynn Malo and sophomores Avery Fisher and Aubry Fisher advanced to the 2025 State Cross Country Meet at Wednesday’s 3A Regional Meet in Spencer.
Avery Fisher placed seventh with a time of 19:25.18, Malo was 11th at 19:33.09, and Aubry Fisher was 12th at 19:35.29. The Humboldt girls’ program finished sixth as a team with Sioux Center, Harlan, and MOC-Floyd Valley among the teams advancing. Natalie Anderson of MOC-Floyd Valley was first individually at 18:20.31 to pace the field.
Humboldt’s boys’ program was 12th, led by Henry Kramer in 30th with a time of 17:46.47. Gavin Weber of Algona won the boys’ race at 16:06.71. Sioux Center, Storm Lake, and MOC-Floyd Valley advanced to the state meet.
The 2025 3A State Meet girls’ race will be held at Lakeside Golf Course near Fort Dodge on Oct. 31 at 2 p.m.
