Eagle Grove, IA – Humboldt’s girls’ wrestling program swept their quad at Eagle Grove Elementary School Tuesday night.
The Wildcats registered two dual wins in which their opponents only scored six points on a single pin, winning 72-6 over both Eagle Grove and Northwood-Kensett. The dual against Northwood-Kensett saw every weight class forfeited by the Vikings except for 235, which was the team’s lone match win in the dual. Humboldt defeated conference foe Clear Lake 52-24, winning by forfeit in four weight classes and pinning five of the Lions wrestlers in route to the win.
Humboldt will next wrestle at the Ames Invite on Saturday, December 6 at Ames High School. The tournament begins at 10 a.m.
