West Des Miones, IA – Hy-Vee wants to celebrate the essential workers on the front lines during the COVID-19 pandemic with some help from the public.
On Monday, April 13, Hy-Vee released a statement with a request for essential workers to share photos of themselves in action. Across its entire eight state region, the retailer wants essential workers to submit photos of themselves doing their job so they can add them into a video montage.
Whether they are a doctor, retailer, childcare provider, delivery driver or more, Hy-Vee wants a chance to highlight those on the front lines during this COVID-19 pandemic. They are asking that all photos submitted be of an individual and not of a group. The video montage will be released via the Hy-Vee social media platforms.
Those who are interested in participating can send their photos to Hy-Vee via Facebook messenger along with their first and last name, hometown and occupation. Photos will be accepted until April 20.
