Humboldt, IA – The 2020 Humboldt County Fair Queen is crowned
A new Humboldt County Fair Queen has been crowned. On Wednesday, July 22, during the Humboldt County Fair, Holly Kirchhoff was crowned as the Humboldt County Fair Queen for 2020.
Kirchhoff is a member of the graduating class of 2020 at Humboldt High School. While at Humboldt High School she has participated in ban, chair, musicals and spring plays while also participating in basketball and football cheer squads along with the group and individual speech teams. Kirchhoff is also a nine year 4-H member and has served on the county and state 4-H councils.
The others who were nominated for this year’s fair queen contest include Julia Berte who was named runner up and miss congeniality, Emma Clark, Leah Johnson, and Rose Wredt. Kirchhoff will be the reigning county queen until next year’s contest and be participating in multiple fair activities throughout her reign.
