Humboldt, IA – Humboldt Police are investigating an unattended death in Humboldt on Saturday. A press release from the Humboldt Police Department indicates that at 7:34 on Saturday morning, Humboldt Police and Humboldt Ambulance responded to 10 Rainbow drive and found an unresponsive 44-year old woman lying on the residential driveway. First responders proclaimed the woman to be dead and the initial investigation from authorities provided no indication of foul play and the death appeared to be accidental. The name of the deceased individual has not been released as of this report and will be released by Humboldt County Medical Examiner, Mike Sexe. The investigation of the incident is ongoing, and anyone with information is encouraged to call the Law Enforcement Center at (515) 332-2600.
