Homecoming parade and coronation for Humboldt High School on Tuesday

Humboldt, IA – This week is homecoming week for Humboldt High School and there is a full slate of events on hand for the week.

Students were off school today, but resume classes on Tuesday with several themes at the High School.

The school has a theme of Texas Tuxedo and the evening features the Homecoming Parade at 6:00 p.m. with the coronation at Humboldt High School’s gymnasium at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s parade route will run along Taft St. starting at the intersection of 2nd Ave. N and Taft St. before heading south toward Sumner Ave. The parade then makes a left turn to head east along Sumner Ave. before making another left turn to go north on N 4th St. until reaching the terminus at the intersection on N 4th St and 2nd Ave. N.

Following the parade community pep rally and coronation at Humboldt High School’s gymnasium will be a queen’s volleyball tournament.
