Nevada, IA – The No. 6 (3A) Humboldt volleyball team went 2-2 at their tournament in Nevada on Saturday.
Humboldt opened with sweep over Des Moines Lincoln (21-9, 21-13). In their second match, Humboldt was swept by No. 1 (4A) Clear Creek-Amana (8-21, 12-21). In their third match, Humboldt swept Winterset (21-13, 21-15), and in the final match of the tournament, Humboldt fell in three sets to No. 4 (4A) Dallas Center-Grimes. The first set won by Humboldt 21-16 and DC-G won sets two and three 21-18 and 15-6.
After the tournament, Humboldt is 18-6 overall and is back in North Central Conference play Thursday when they host Clarion-Goldfield-Dows.
