The second annual Beat Bash on Maine fundraiser will take place Saturday in Dakota City.
The event will help raise money to help local children participate in dance programs. The Saturday list of events includes community garage sales, food vendors, games, dance competitions, face painting, a dunk tank, and a cornhole tournament. Live music by Section 7 is scheduled for 7:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Organizers say all proceeds from the event will help local kids pursue their passion for dance.
