Humboldt, Iowa – The Humboldt Community Chorus, which has been in the community for a multitude of years, began practicing last weekend for it’s upcoming performances titled “If We All Sing One Song.”

“We will have shows Friday thru Sunday at the Humboldt High School auditorium. The auditorium usually holds up to 500 people and we pretty much sell out each show. We get great support from the community” said Michelle McKenna, Director of Marketing for the event.

The chorus has seventy singers and they are joined by a twenty member band. All of them are volunteers and come from a wide variety of ages.

“This year we have some little tykes that are three-ish, they will be singing and dancing and we also have some ladies in their eighties” McKenna explained.

Tickets can be purchased for $10 for adults and $5 for students at V&S Variety Store, or any chorus and band member.

The shows begin this Friday at 7:00 p.m., Saturday at 2 and 7:00 p.m., and Sunday at 2:00 p.m.
