Humboldt, IA — Entries are still needed for the Humboldt County Fair Queen Contest.
Entries can be submitted until the deadline of June 14th at noon. Each candidate needs a $50 sponsorship in order to enter. The competition is July 18th with the winner being crowned on July 24th at the Humboldt County Fair.
The winner will receive gifts and scholarships from local Humboldt businesses along with $250 to go towards expenses for the State Fair Queen Contest. Age range for the competition is 16-21 and each contestant will be judged based on character qualities and poise during the process.
