Democratic Candidates Try To Build Momentum At Wing Ding

Clear Lake, IA — 22 Democratic Presidential Candidates took the stage in front of about 1200 Iowans over the weekend in the annual Wing Ding event in Clear Lake.

Each candidate was given five minutes of stage time to speak to the crowd on hand. The next national debate is September 12th and many candidates are still vying for position in the national polls.

Currently, nine candidates have qualified for the debate with businessman Andrew Yang being the most recent to make stage.

He joins Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Cory Booker, Amy Klobuchar, Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, and Beto O’Rourke. The qualification deadline for the debate is August 28th.
