Humboldt, IA — The new wellness hub at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital is officially open.
HCMH held an open house event on Sunday. Attendees were invited to tour the new UnityPoint Clinic, Outpatient Specialty Clinic, the Lab, Diabetes Center, and Foundation Conference Room.
The two-story, 40,000 square foot building has been in the works for more than two years. A ribbon cutting took place at 2 P.M. Sunday following the reveal of a new HCMH Foundation Donor Wall.
Healthcare providers and staff were on-hand for the “Building into the Future” open house; including volunteers for Genevieve’s Cafe & Gift Shop, which recently underwent renovations as well.
Genevieve’s is currently selling Christmas and holiday decor – in addition to their regular merchandise, coffee, and pastries.
