Humboldt, IA — The 37th annual Humboldt Lions Club Radio Auction will be held Tuesday night at Bank Iowa in Humboldt.

A total of 113 items will be up for sale in six sessions. Most items are valued between $25 and $50. There are some high-dollar items including a shade tree from Wempen’s Garden Center, valued at $100, a $20 bouquet a month from Floral Creations, an electric toothbrush from Northpark Family Dentistry, valued at $150, and much more.

George Bruder, Lions Club member and principal of Taft and Mease Elementary, says it’s pretty easy to participate in the radio auction.

“It’s really simple. You listen to [97.7 The Bolt] that evening, listen to where the bids are, and you call in to the bank, and the phone number is (515) 332-1451… we are excited to have 22 items that are food-related. Area restaurants, grocery stores.”

On top of that, Bruder says there are 16 items that are car-related including oil changes and gift certificates for area maintenance shops.
