Pet registration season begins in Humboldt

Humboldt, IA – The City of Humboldt reminds everyone that it is once again time to renew your pet’s registration with the city. Bring your proof of rabies vaccination to city hall to begin the process.

Veterinarian Dr. Erin Kramer from Harmony Animal Clinic says every pet registration comes with an ID tag that links to an online profile that helps the city and community identify the pet and their address. This feature will help pet owners avoid fines if their lost pet would have to be held.

It is only $5 to register pets who are spayed or neutered and otherwise the registration cost $10. Stop by town hall or your local vet office to pick up the registration form.
