Humboldt, IA – State wrestling Sectionals are set and Humboldt High School is hosting this Saturday.
The Wildcats will be hosting Sectional Tournament 2 of Class 2A in the State for wrestling. Humboldt is one of two North Central Conference schools in Sectional 2. The other conference representative is Webster City.
Other schools coming to Humboldt this weekend will be Emmetsburge, Estherville-Lincoln Central, Okoboji, Milford, and Southeast Valley (Gowrie).
The top two wrestlers from each weight class will advance to District Tournament 1 hosted by Algona on Feb. 15. If Humboldt is able to win the team score at Sectionals they will also advance to the team Regional Dual on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
