Wildcat basketball sweeps the Gaels

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt High School picked up wins in both girls and boys basketball on Tuesday, Feb. 4, against the St. Edmond Gaels.

The Wildcat girls team won 63 to 32. Three Wildcats finished with double digit scoring. Kendal Clark had 17 points as the team leading scorer. Mady Lange had 14 points and Jayda Hoefer had 13 as part of the 31 point Wildcat win. For St. Edmond Cambrie McBride was the leading scorer with 16 points.

The Wildcat boys team won 63 to 41. Three Wildcats finished with double digit scoring. Sam Fischer and Jacob Thurm both had 12 points. Gabe Gidel had 10 points as part of the Wildcat win. For St. Edmond Connor Bocken was the teams leading scorer with 9 points.

Humboldt High School Basketball will return to action on Friday, Feb. 7, at Clear Lake.
