74 new COVID-19 cases confirmed from Nov. 23 to Nov. 29

Humboldt County, IA – Public Health is reporting a total of 224 active COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as the total case count reaches 773.

In looking at the COVID-19 numbers for the county from Monday Nov. 23 through Sunday Nov. 29, Humboldt County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health have reported a total of 74 new cases over the course of the week. The county’s total case count is now up to 773.

Here is how the total positive cases break down by age:

  • 94 are in the 0-17 age range (13 new).
  • 245 are in the 18-40 age range (20 new).
  • 224 are in the 41-60 age range (12 new).
  • 156 are in the 61-80 age range (21 new).
  • 54 are in the 81+ age category (eight new).

Additional information provided from the states coronavirus.iowa.gov shows the Humboldt County positivity rate as 28.9 percent over the past 14 days.
