Humboldt, IA – Fareway grocery stores will be honoring veterans Wednesday with a special 15% discount.
To receive the discount, according to a press release from Fareway, customers are asked to show a military ID at checkout or identify their branch of service. The discount may be used by any retired, active duty, reserve, or guard military members. Fareway President and CEO Reynolds W. Cramer says the offer is the “least [Fareway] could do to express [their] gratitude for their sacrifices.”
Fareway in Humboldt is participating in the discount program, which will exclude tobacco, lottery tickets, and gift cards.
