23 new COVID-19 cases confirmed last week, 33 active

Humboldt County, IA – Public Health is reporting a total of 33 active COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as the total case count reaches 1,065.

In looking at the COVID-19 numbers for the county from Monday Jan. 18 through Sunday, Jan. 24 Humboldt County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health have reported a total of 23 new cases over the course of the week.

Here is how the total positive cases break down by age:

  • 130 are in the 0-17 age range.
  • 352 are in the 18-40 age range.
  • 312 are in the 41-60 age range.
  • 212 are in the 61-80 age range.
  • 59 are in the 81+ age category.

Additional information provided from the states coronavirus.iowa.gov shows the Humboldt County positivity rate as 10.5 percent over the past 14 days.

At this time there have been 1,032 recoveries (102 new) with 18 COVID-19 related deaths in Humboldt County for a total of 33 active cases.
