25 new COVID-19 cases reported in the past week, 112 active

Humboldt County, IA – Public Health is reporting a total of 112 active COVID-19 cases in Humboldt County as the total case count reaches 1,042.

In looking at the COVID-19 numbers for the county from Monday Jan. 11 through Sunday, Jan. 17 Humboldt County Public Health and the Iowa Department of Public Health have reported a total of 25 new cases over the course of the week. The county’s total case count is now up to 1,042.

Here is how the total positive cases break down by age:

  • 126 are in the 0-17 age range.
  • 343 are in the 18-40 age range.
  • 304 are in the 41-60 age range.
  • 211 are in the 61-80 age range.
  • 58 are in the 81+ age category.

Additional information provided from the states coronavirus.iowa.gov shows the Humboldt County positivity rate as 12 percent over the past 14 days.

At this time there have been 930 recoveries with 18 COVID-19 related deaths in Humboldt County for a total of 112 active cases.
