Humboldt, IA – Possible minor injuries suspect after one vehicle slides into the back end of another.
Officer Kylie Zender of the Humboldt Police Department files the report on the two car incident. The report says that on Friday, February 5, Frank Marchant, 42, of Humboldt and Raymond Saathoff, 71, of Humboldt were traveling west on Sumner Avenue.
Saathoff was stopped at the intersection with 6th Street North and Marchant attempted to stop but couldn’t in time due to slick road conditions. The result was his blue Chevrolet Colorado striking Saathoff’s black GMC Sierra in the rear.
The incident resulted in minor damages to both vehicles with Saathoff driving his away and Marchant leaving his at the scene. Officer Zender reports Saathoff complained of some pain and suspected minor injuries were possible.
