Lu Verne, IA – The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Friday night incident involving a fatal cross bow shooting.
Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger says that on Friday, March 19, the dispatch center received a call about an unresponsive male at a residence near Lu Verne. Upon arrival, it appeared the male had been accidentally shot with a cross bow.
The sheriff says the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigation was called and is still involved in the process. No names were released to KHBT.
