Humboldt County receives first allocation of single dose vaccine

Humboldt, IA – Humboldt County Public Health will be holding their first Johnson & Johnson/Janssen COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic this week.

Announced through a release, public health and Humboldt County Memorial Hospital has received 400 doses of this vaccine. As a result they will hold their next vaccination clinic on Wednesday, April 7th.

The Johnson & Jonson Vaccine is a single dose vaccine. It is for anyone who is 18 years of age or older.

As with the previous clinics an appointment is required in order to receive a vaccine. It will be held at the Humboldt County Fairgrounds in the event center. Appointments will be made on a “first come first serve” basis. If no appointments are available please call Humboldt County Public Health at 515-332-2492 to be put on the cancellation/wait list.
