Iowa Falls, IA – On Monday, May 10, Humboldt School boys’ soccer won on the road, 2-1, over Iowa Falls-Alden.
In this tightly contested game Humboldt was able to get the first goal of the game in first half. Humboldt would hold the 1-0 lead at the break.
Iowa Falls-Alden found their lone goal in the second half but Humboldt would prevent overtime with their own second half goal. The 2-1 victory would make it six straight for the Wildcats.
The two goal scorers for Humboldt were James Gould (his eighth) and Jacob Heier (his second). Both goals were assisted on by Zach Heider.
Humboldt boys’ soccer is now 11-2 on the season. Their next game will be Tuesday, May 11, on the road against East Sac County at the Wall Lake Athletic Complex. It will be a double headers with a girls’ game that is tentatively scheduled to begin around 7 pm.
