Humboldt, IA – On Wednesday, June 2, Humboldt softball beat Clarion-Goldfield-Dows 15-3 in four innings at home.
This was the first North Central Conference game for Humboldt. The Wildcats scored in each of the four innings played.
They started the game with a seven run first inning. They got one more run in the second and four in the third. They finished the game with a three spot in the bottom of the fourth.
Humboldt’s Reagan Lee pitched all four innings in the win. She gave up three hits on 17 at bats and hit a batter. She got four strikeouts.
Jori Hajek led Humboldt, going 2-2 at the plate with a home run, two RBIs and drawing two walks. Addie Thompson was also 2-2 with two RBIs and a walk.

The win by Humboldt improves their record to 3-1 this season and 1-0 in the NCC.
Humboldt’s next game will be on Thursday, June 3, on the road against Clear Lake. First pitch is scheduled for 7:30 pm, following a JV game.
