Work by Mathy Construction is complete

Dakota City, IA – The road construction on the secondary roads in Humboldt County is complete with only final payments remaining.

During the meeting of the county board of supervisors on June 28, they were presented with five pay vouchers to approve. These payments to Mathy Construction were for the various projects that were completed in the past two weeks.

The total amount paid by the county for the work completed was $251,682.79. This is for all the work completed to date an only leaves the retainage left to be paid according to the board.

The Humboldt County Secondary Roads department confirms through social media that all construction has been completed. Striping the roads is the final piece of work and is expected occur sometime during the week of July 5.

The supervisors approved all pay vouchers unanimously as presented.
