Dakota City saves money on lowering interest rate

Dakota City, IA – At last week’s Dakota City City Council Meeting the council approved a resolution  for providing reduction of interest rate for sewer revenue bond, City Clerk Angelique Berry explains what that is.

 

Also at the meeting, Berry talked about the annual urban renewal report for fiscal year 2020, that shows the Tax Increment Financing money that came in and the debt the City had associated with it Berry. says that Dakota City got $30,690 in TIF revenue and loan payments that go out that were $30,249.
