Humboldt, IA – After a work session last week, A decision on the Reasoner Dam Project has not been made and Humboldt County Conservation says that all future action has been tabled to a later date. As previously reported by KHBT, At the previous Humboldt County Conservation Board meeting, Conservation Director Todd Lee said that he hoped to have a decision made on what Alternative, if any, to move forward with in the project by December 1.
This deadline was made in an attempt to apply for a grant through the Iowa DNR for Dam Mitigation that was due on December 10th, but after discussion, the Humboldt County Conservation Board and Board of Supervisors decided they needed more time to make a decision on how to move forward with the project.
No timeline has been provided on when a decision could be made, but KHBT will have more details on this story as they develop.
