Humboldt, IA -High winds caused damage in Humboldt County and surrounding areas on Wednesday evening, leaving some without power. KHBT talked to Humboldt County Sheriff Dean Kruger about the damage in Humboldt County.

Some of the most extensive damage in the area was in rural Webster County, with several thousand MidAmerican Customers having lost power due to downed power lines and fallen trees among other things. There were no injures reported in the area from the storm as of this report.
